Using Kip

These terms govern your use of Kip’s website, portal, and messaging assistant (the “service”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. “Kip,” “we,” and “us” refer to the team providing the service at kipchats.com. You can reach us at georgina@kipchats.com.

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use Kip on behalf of an organization, you must have authority to do so. Kip is not intended for children under 13.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Your account

Access may require an invitation, sign-in, and verification of a phone number you control. Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in credentials and verification codes, and tell us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

You are responsible for instructions sent through your account and for keeping your connected accounts and contact information up to date. Do not share or sell access, impersonate another person, or bypass invitation or security controls.

Instructions and connections

Kip helps with information, saved items, reminders, plans, and tasks. You decide what to ask it to do and which external accounts to connect. Connecting an account allows Kip and its connection providers, including Composio, to access the permissions you grant to provide the features you enable.

Your instructions can authorize actions such as creating reminders or calendar events. Some actions ask for a separate confirmation. Check recipients, dates, amounts, and other details before approving an action. You may disconnect integrations from the portal or revoke access through the connected provider.

A suggestion, draft, or statement of intent is not proof that a booking, payment, or other external action succeeded. Rely on the relevant provider’s confirmation. Third-party services have their own terms, availability, and charges.

Messaging

When you request a verification code or enable a messaging feature, you authorize the related messages to the number you provide. Kip may send replies, verification codes, and the reminders or updates you request. Message frequency depends on your use.

Carrier message and data rates may apply. Delivery depends on your carrier and messaging providers and may be delayed or fail. For SMS, you can reply STOP to opt out; this may also prevent verification codes and requested reminders from reaching you. Contact georgina@kipchats.com for help.

Do not use Kip for emergencies or rely on it as your only way to receive a critical or time-sensitive notification.

Responsible use

Use Kip lawfully and respect other people’s privacy and rights. Do not use it for fraud, harassment, spam, unauthorized access, or harmful activity, or try to interfere with the service.

Only share content and connect accounts you have the right to use. In group chats, consider what other participants can see before sharing personal or confidential information.

You retain your rights to the content you provide. You give Kip permission to process, store, and transmit that content as needed to provide the service and carry out your instructions. Kip’s branding and software remain the property of their respective owners.

AI and service limitations

Kip uses AI, which can misunderstand instructions, make mistakes, and produce incomplete or inaccurate information. Check important answers and actions. Kip is not a substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

The service is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accurate answers, or successful completion of every task. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and ending use

You may stop using Kip at any time. Disconnect external accounts in the portal and contact us to request deletion of your Kip account and associated personal information, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may change or discontinue features, or suspend access to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements, or a breach of these terms. If we introduce paid features, we will disclose the price and applicable billing terms before you agree to pay.

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will update the date on this page and provide additional notice of material changes where required. These terms do not limit any mandatory rights you have under applicable law.
